Final Assignment Part 1

For our final assignment we are to do a self portrati of ourselves in a contour line drawing.  Here is my rendition of my self portrait in a contour line drawing.
This was my first attempt not understanding that I could do a frontal view I struggled with this first attempt at a contour line drawing of myself. 

I then tried a second attempt with a frontal view. 

Better, but not great.  So I tried a third attempt.  This one I was pleased with. 

This is my third attempt at a contour line drawing.  I really wanted to shade and create shadows, but this is what the expectations were for this particular project.  The nose gave me such a heck of a time.  I think I spent an hour on my nose alone.
